“FULFILLMENT”
An iconic Disney song rendered our dreamer’s heart with the lyrics:
“When you wish upon a star, makes no difference who you are, anything your heart desires, will come to you.” For this wedding, it was wishing upon a…. milktea. Yes, you read that right. This wedding was a fulfillment of a dream told in front a milktea.
This coverage is very special to our heart as it was a wedding of our long-time dear friend. This friendship was bonded through the same interest: Photography. It was one random get-together at a milktea shop when Yas expressed her dream wedding and future desires – having Hugbig to capture that moment was one of them. Life happened, we lost touch, and sort of drifted apart. But unbeknownst to us, her wish, never drifted far from her heart.
Years later, we suddenly got a message from her. Without doubt, the first question was, “Unsa man? Pakasal naka? (So, are you getting married?).” The wedding itself was like straight out from a dream – the venue, the decorations, the dress, the details, the people. The couple was also like the classic characters that you read from books – a shy and blushing bride and an outgoing and down-to-earth groom. The chemistry, unknowing to them but very apparent to us – was truly natural and electrical. There was no better match but a match made by the universe such as this.
To finish the song, “if your heart is in your dream, no request is too extreme, when you wish upon a star, as dreamers do, like a bolt out of the blue, Fate steps and see you through, when you wish upon a star, your dreams come true.” This was a fulfillment of a wish made upon a milktea, and to capture this story is also a fulfillment of Hugbig’s philosophy – your story, our passion.
