Crush according to the Oxford dictionary means a brief but intense infatuation for someone that always goes unexpressed. Our bride unabashedly admitted that she had a crush on our groom since grade 5 but eventually outgrew it. One might say that crushes are temporary and fleeting, yet the childhood feelings came back in high school. This was such a cute story; the kind that takes you back to your own adolescent kilig moments. Our bride was seated in front of our groom and would get distracted by how our groom smelled so good. Just like any other high school crush story, our groom was unattainable at that time being in a relationship with someone else. He could not even remember that our bride was seated in front of him during high school!

But how the tables have turned in college! As our bride grew up, she glowed up, catching not only one but three hearts including our groom’s. This is the ultimate “Sana All” story where only a rare few were able to succeed: Being in a relationship with your childhood crush! Not only that, ending up with him in front of the altar!

It sounded like a sweet revenge for our bride as she felt the groom really made her felt how much he loved her - from taking care of her to giving her the utmost patience and understanding during her “pa-suyo tantrums.” Their relationship was like a rewind of high school with stolen moments and sneaking around (sorry parents, now you know! jk!); constant petty fights followed by sweet instances; and breaking up to making up. They seemed to take the childish saying, “the more you hate, the more you love” true to heart. Nevertheless, this crush that was intense turned to a steady love, neither brief nor momentary, but for a lifetime. Ladies, it’s time we take notes from our bride’s secret book: A GUIDE ON HOW TO MAKE YOUR CRUSH YOURS FOREVER.
